Special Guest Instructor Week at VFSC – Don’t Miss Out!

The Board of Directors at VFSC is excited to announce a fantastic lineup of guest instructors for Off-Ice Training.  October 14, 15, 16— all included at no extra cost and held during regularly scheduled off-ice sessions!

October 14 – 🥗 Dr. Sally Stewart, PhD (Nutrition)
Fueling performance! Each session, through age-appropriate interactive learning, will introduce skaters to healthy eating habits to fuel the body for training. Parents, Dr. Stewart will also be available between sessions to chat with skaters and parents.

October 15 – 💪 Mel Spooner
Fitness coach, 3x Iron(wo)man, yoga instructor & entrepreneur — bringing energy and strength! Parents please send a yoga mat and tennis ball if you have one - for a focused session on strength and stretch. 

October 16 – 👟 Bring a Parent/guardian to Off-Ice!
Special session with Dave Drake, owner of Blade Runner, on boot fit, blade care, and all things skate-related. Even sharpening - it matters. Great info for both skaters and parents! Please note, parents are not required - this is an optional opportunity to learn.
