Marlena brings over 30 years of coaching and leadership, with a strong record of developing skaters from the earliest stages through Provincial and National levels. With her coaching experience, she teaches a love for sport at all ages, Marlena motivates skaters and enjoys their successes.  She is warm, kind, patient, encouraging and very much looking forward to collaborating with our coaches, skaters, and members.

Marlena is a skilled coach in Dance, Skills, and Freeskate (Star 1 to Gold), experienced in athlete development, program coordination, staff leadership, and program growth for on- and off-ice skater development. Her coaching philosophy promotes excellence, confidence, and sportsmanship within an inclusive and safe arena.

When she is not in the arena you can find her hiking in the local mountains, working out at the fitness centre, and exploring the community.
